Junior Web Developer

Salary

£20,000 – £25,000 pa

Profile

Graduates/Undergraduate placements. IT/Software development degree, Maths A-level

Responsibilities

1. Development of all the company’s web systems using C#, MSSQL and core web technologies
   1. Develop new website functionality
   2. Develop other web based software (services, web services etc.)
2. Support and maintain existing software
3. Provide support to customer service teams with vetted technical issues (e.g. account data)

£25,000 – £30,000 pa

Project Team Leader

Salary

£35,000 – £45,000 pa

Responsibilities

2. Development of all the company’s web systems using C#, MSSQL and core web technologies
3. Be a key member of the Project Organisation team – weekly planning of projects and associated team resources on a project-to-project basis
4. Assisting project stakeholders in requirements gathering and scoping of tasks within their respective Projects
5. Organising project tasks and allocating team resources
6. Keeping up to date with all team/project related tasks whilst in development or in testing
7. Scheduling and overseeing of releases to the live environment
8. Assist with ongoing recruitment of Web Development staff as required
9. Assist with and guide ongoing improvements to department practices and infrastructure including training
10. Regular one to one meetings with direct reports and annual reviews
11. Coaching and training analysis of direct reports and all department staff

Project Team Leaders will need excellent communication skills and be expected to lead by example in the department’s increasing commitment to testing, documentation and knowledge sharing.
